I need a job printed, what do I do first?
The first step in getting a job printed is filling out a Printing / Design Requisition. This form must be submitted before any work can begin. Please visit getting started under general information for step-by-step instructions.

I need Printing / Design Requisitions, where do I get them?
Printing Requisitions are available from the Production Printing Department at no charge. Please contact 222-8585 or casandra.greene@rcc.edu. There are also blank requisitions available in the mailroom on the Riverside Campus.

Where do I turn in printing requisitions?
Printing requisitions may be turned in through inter-campus mail in the Production Printing mailbox on the Riverside Campus. They can also be delivered to the Production Printing department in Tech B 101 on the Riverside Campus.

I would like to have design work done before I decide to print. Can I just send it to Production Printing?
No. Before ANY work can be done you must submit a Printing/Design Requisition.

Will I be charged for printing?
Yes. All jobs are charged based on the materials used to complete the finished project. As we only charge for the actual cost of the job, Production Printing can save you an average of 40-60% over outside prices.

I would like a price before I submit a requisition, what do I need to do?
Many prices are listed under the price section of our web page. However, if you would like an estimate for a job not listed, please email casandra.greene@rcc.edu, or call 222-8585. Please provide as much information as possible, so that we can give you an accurate estimate. You may also send a sample through inter-campus mail to receive an estimate.

I would like design work done that will not be printed, is there a charge for it?
Yes, there I a $10 design charge on any job that is not printed.

I would like to do my own design work, is that possible?
Yes. You are welcome to do your own design; however, there are certain guidelines that must be followed. Some programs are not compatible with our systems, and therefore should not be used. In order to save time and prevent having to re-do your design work, please refer to out Design Guidelines.

Do you laminate?
Yes. Laminating is one of the many services that we offer the district.

Can you do color copies?
No. We do not have a color copier in our department. However, we do have the capability to print color documents on our presses. Please contact us for more information.

What services are offered through Production Printing?
We offer many services, please see the service section of our web page for a complete list.

I would like to know the status of my job, what should I do?
If you would like to check on the status of a job, please call 222-8585, or email casandra.greene@rcc.edu. Please have the job name, requestor, and date requested.

I have a personal job that I would like printed, can I have it done in the print shop?
The Production Printing Department offers printing services for some outside jobs. For more information, please see the Special Projects section of our web page.
